Just For Fun is a great choice when the budget is tight. We work with the school or PTO on the design to give you the most playground possible for your money.
A wood playground still gives you the most for your money, and we
can also build any of our designs in recycled plastic
wood. It is more expensive but gives you the look of
wood without any of the maintenance.
For Schools
Old Fort Elementary School
The Old Fort Elementary School playground area is a recreational area for the entire town. They wanted a destination playground that will promote the town and its history. Phase One is this slide and climbing arrowhead, which exactly mimics the iconic statue in downtown Old Fort. Phase Two will commemorate the town's train station and history as an important whistle-stop.
Art Space
Charter School
Artspace Charter School had a small budget and some good existing equipment. This playground, built by the parents, creatively adapted the existing elements into a much larger playground.
For an absolutely maintenance free playground, consider a recycled plastic timber structure from Earthscapes Structures. Of highest quality, with stainless steel hardware and
a lifetime warranty on the timbers, this playground can really take a lot of use.
Price approximately $40,000.

Vance Elementary School
Sometimes a simpler playground with a couple of old-fashioned climbers and lots of decks and bridges to run across is all that's needed, such as this playground at Vance Elementary School in Asheville.
